Philly Trip

Well, Mr. Pu and his merry men went on a little road trip this weekend. We watched some great lacrosse games, tailgated like champions, met a ton of people, and thankfully we all came back in one piece. We stayed in the heart of the city, close to bars/restaurants and anything else your heart desires. We stayed out late, got up early; never getting enough sleep was the motto for this trip. On Saturday we were tailgating from 7:30 am until 5 pm. It was absolutely incredible. Every one was required to bring their own 30 pack of beer, and we STILL ran out! We BBQ’d philly cheese steak sandwiches, burgers and sausages. Weather was perfect.
Let me sum up our tailgating experience by saying this; if you want to meet women, between the ages of 20 – 28, that are incredibly good-looking, and wearing what women usually wear to the beach, then go to the college lacrosse final four. They’re everywhere!!!!!

On a final note, my brother’s team, the Boston Cannons won their first game of the season Sunday night which made the trip even more enjoyable. He scored three goals, and played very well. I’m a proud brother.

I can’t wait for the next road trip.

Memorial Weekend

Well everyone, here's the plan. The boys and I are en route to Philly this weekend. Friday night we plan on finding some local watering hole, and getting drunk. Saturday we're waking up early, going to Lincoln Financial Field by about 8am, and then tailgating for about 4 hours with many coolers full of beer and some burgers/dogs. Then we're going to watch the college lacrosse final four. Saturday night it's back to the local watering hole for some more beer. Finally Sunday, after watching the college players the day before, we plan on watching the pros and we're going to watch my brother play lacrosse. He plays for the Boston Cannons. After that, we're going home. Hopefully I'll have some funny stories to report to you all. I'm sure with the crew I'm going down there with, I will.
Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone. Let's all pray for some good weather

The Heist

The Captain is in charge of ordering supplies over here in our little world. He actually has the nerve to keep a stash of supplies in a cabinet LOCKED up so that only he can get to them. Well, the Captain happens to be away for the moment, so Mr. Pu and two of his good friends decided to get the key, open up the cabinet, and raid that thing Robin Hood style. Stealing from the Captain and giving to our humble co-workers. We were so excited during this daring heist that for a moment there, I thought we heard the theme song from Mission Impossible playing over the intercom!
Hopefully we covered our tracks well enough though, or else when the Captain returns, he will surely be in an uproar.

Can I be Too Relaxed?

Is there such a thing? I’ve been told by many that it almost appears as if I don’t care about things, or I show no emotion. I really don’t believe that at all. I just don’t get all worked up about things. In my opinion, there are so many things in this world that are beyond my control, why worry about them? Also, I’m the eternal optimist, why be any other way. Why walk around with a black cloud over your head, life is hard enough so why make it harder? We’re only on this planet a short time and I’m not going to be miserable, depressed or even slightly worried about work/money or any other trivial thing that really has no bearing on whether I live or die.
So, put a smile on and keep your head up people, there’s a lot of good times still to be had!

The Deadliest Catch

I love this show. It's about Alaskan King Crab Fisherman and their toils and troubles of trying to catch these creatures while crabbing in the deadliest waters on earth. The things these fisherman do just to make a paycheck to support their families is truly unbelievable. Very brave men indeed. Every season, some of them get swept overboard in the high seas of the Beiring Strait, never to be found again, and if they are found, they come out of the water like a human popsicle.
Good Luck Fishermen, I have a lot of respect for you all!!!

Dear Previous Homeowners of My House,

I hate you, and I hate the fact that when my wife and I pick up a carpet with the expectations of seeing beautiful hardwood floors, we see beautiful hardwood floors drilled with screws, nailed from the top, and painted all over. Why? Why did you morons ruin the floors? Because of you, since they are beyond repair, I have to rip them up, buy new hardwood, install it, and then finish the wood.
So, thank you assholes, you have just cost me about ten times more than what it should cost to finish the hardwood floors in my house.
And, you can bet your ass that when mail comes to the house for you guys, I’m ripping that shit up and throwing it right in the trash!!!
Sincerely,
Mr. Pu

Michael James Muscara

Well folks, I'm an Uncle. Uncle Hu to be exact. Little Michael James was born at 3:55 pm May 20th.
Now explain the irony in this, my sis was born April 29th, my Dad was born May11th, my Mom was born May 16th, my brother was born May 19th, and now lil' Mike was born May 20th. All the members of my family born within 21 days of one another. Imagine the Super Birthday parties we're going to have now when lil' Mike turns 1 and then 2 and so on.
Yours truly, Hu Flung Pu, was born JANUARY 20th!!! My B-Day is in that forgotten month when everyone is trying to recover from Christnas & New Years. Am I the odd ball, the unique one, the forgotten member of this family, or was I adopted? How come I'm not a taurus?

I guess that's why I married someone born in March!

My Sister's in Labor!

This is an exciting time in the Pu family. The first grandchild is about to pop his head out and say hello to the world. He’s coming out about 4 weeks early, but everything should be fine, and I’m not worried. I’m sure my sis is though. She’s tends to get a little excited over the details of life, and has even worried herself sick sometimes (literally).
So, after work I’m off to the hospital, maybe the little man will already be there, maybe not. But, one thing’s for sure, I’ll be celebrating at a bar tonight around the corner from the hospital with my brother-in-law. It’ll probably be his last night of piece and quiet.

Get the cigars ready!

Good luck sis, and don’t stop pushing!

Captain Kaz

This is a character in my life. You’ll be hearing a lot about him in the future, as many of the aggravating and annoying things that happen to me are a result of this person. He is a unique individual. A subordinate of such, I guess you could say, who loves to question not only me, but any rule set by people in positions of authority. Why can’t the Capt. simply do his job without finding something to complain about or question? Why must things snowball into a three alarm fire, when there’s a perfectly good solution right under the Captain’s big nose?
I guess some people are leaders, others are followers, and then there’s Capt’ Kaz, who just refuses to be led.
So, thank you Captain, tonight’s Bud Light’s in honor of you.
